- PLANNING AHEAD FOR OPTIMAL RECOVERY, ADJUSTMENT AND TRANSFORMATION
- STAYING CONNECTED TO NEW PARENTS FOR THE FIRST YEAR (OR MORE!) SO THAT THEY DO NOT FEEL ALONE
- HONORING THE BIRTHING PARENT THROUGH CEREMONIES AND RITUALS INTENDED TO RECONNECT WITH MIND BODY AND SPIRIT
MY GOALS ARE TO HELP TO FIGHT THE RISING RATES OF MATERNAL MORTALITY, PARTICULARLY IN BLACK AND BROWN COMMUNITIES, AND TO MINIMIZE THE RISKS OF PERINATAL OR POSTPARTUM MOOD AND ANXIETY DISORDER (PMAD) BY FOCUSING ON THE PHYSICAL,MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL WELLNESS OF THE BIRTHING PERSON FROM PREGNANCY TO POSTPARTUM.
